Morgan Davis Foehl is a Los Angeles-based writer and photographer. His screenwriting has been recognized as part of Variety’s “Writers to Watch” series, on the Black List and on the Playlist among others. Foehl wrote the feature film “Blackhat” (Universal Pictures, 2015) in collaboration with director Michael Mann. Focused on iconography, isolation, institutional structures, and the sometimes tragic resilience of the man-made environment, his photography began as a self-taught exercise following the birth of his daughter in 2016. His work has recently been featured by Find Rangers Magazine, Seen Magazine, Open Doors Gallery, Your Local Newsstand and Red Moon Magazine. He is a selected participant of Fotofilmic's upcoming master workshop with Joel Sternfeld. Foehl is a graduate of Emerson College.
